Felix Fleer

Felix Fleer

Felix Fleer is an electronic music artist, live performer, and documentary filmmaker from Germany. As a DJ, his sets are defined by eclecticism, moving fluidly between techno, bass music, house, jungle, and other leftfield club sounds. Alongside Jonas Landwehr, he founded the record labels R-Imprint and Serial Sound. Through Voltage Labs, a platform for music discovery, education, and cultural documentation, they create documentary films and editorial formats that examine the aesthetics, values, and protagonists shaping contemporary electronic music culture.

As a producer, Fleer’s sound balances intricate textures with fragile harmonies, merging the emotional sensitivity of ambient composition with the rhythmic tension of club music. His 2024 Premise EP on Serial Sound captures this duality across six tracks, moving from warped garage and breakbeat constructions to unstable, detuned synth layers and ethereal pad work.

Drawing from vintage hardware and modular systems, his productions invite deep listening, rewarding attention with detailed sound design and a narrative arc that spans from introspective unease to euphoric release. He also serves as A&R and Label Manager of The Third Room, the imprint behind the annual Stone Techno Festival at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zeche Zollverein in Essen.
